He was born in Bolivia but spends his time between Madrid and London. He's a musical artist, photographer, painter, video producer and all round awesome guy to know.
I met him through a mutual friend in Madrid and I've worked with him a few times now on different tracks and we've got another one cooking up too for next year.
This track started off originally as a slow ambient electronic piece, but I did a couple of remixes of it and this was the last remix that I decided I loved!
The idea behind this song is that I think we have to create our own happiness and make things happen for ourselves. Our state of mind and being able to think positively about each day is so important in helping us become better versions of ourselves.
lyrics
We writin' stories every day of our lives
A page at a time
Debts and our rhymes
When its decided and we want it so bad, yeah
Couldn’t live without that
Words on the page, our mind’s set
Makin’ excuses, falsifying facts of life
And waste time
Does it feel right? No.
Countin’ abuses, "oh they do ya so wrong, right?
Screwed u long time
Just wanted to get along, like
Just wanted to get along, like
Just wanted to get along, right?
We writin' stories every day of our lives
A page at a time
Debts and our rhymes
When its decided and we want it so bad, yeah
Couldn’t live without that
Words on the page, our mind’s set
Open realities; fail/retry
Vow to provide results
And abide
Create realities to open your mind
It’s all inside ya
Breaking in the tide now
A little bit less dependent
Less resentment
More contentment to life
A little bit less debating
Sometimes waiting equates to
Being overly polite
Just wanted to get along, like
Just wanted to get along, like
Just wanted to get along, right?
- Priveyt:
Viviendo el día a día seguro
(Living each day to day for sure)
No me invade el pasado ni el futuro
(Not letting the past or future invade the present)
Depresión y ansiedad en lo oscuro
(Depression and anxiety away in the dark)
De las mentes, de todo el mundo
(In the minds, of all the people of the world)
Vuelvo a sonreír como un niño
(I smile again like a child)
Como con el último gramo adquirido
(Like with the last gram I bought)
O con más o con menos pero tranquilo
(Sometimes with more or less than that, but chilled)
Hoy sonrío con resaca
(Today I smile with hangover)
Me siento vivo
(I feel alive)
We writin' stories every day of our lives
A page at a time
Debts and our rhymes
When its decided and we want it so bad, yeah
Couldn’t live without that
Words on the page, our mind’s set
